Detailing

What is Detailing?
Detailing is for those that require their vehicles to look beyond clean, to look as though the vehicle has zero miles and is sat in a dealer’s showroom.  Our aim is to ensure that your vehicle is taken care of to the highest of standards, to ensure that no edges are left untouched, leaving the car to as near as perfect as is possible.

Which Detail Option Shall I Choose?
Choosing between Stage 2 and Stage 3 can be simply down to the condition of the vehicle, all detailing options see the same care and attention placed on your vehicle.  Typically this is down to personal preference, but generally it is down to the initial paint condition on your vehicle as to which option is chosen.  If there are any further queries then please contact us so that we may guide you to the right choice.

What does a Premium Wax Offer?
The premium waxes that we offer are tried and tested, each giving a different look or adding something in terms of durability.  An ultra high grade carnauba wax will easily last for over six months and offer an ‘as new’ look when washed.

Will I Need a Wax Top-Up?
To keep a car in top condition it is always recommended to add a wax top-up every month.  The extra layers will build durability and protect the shine for up to six months.  We recommend that the wax is stripped back every six months and re-applied, this is the optimum method to look after your vehicle’s paintwork.  We can supply a kit to enable you to wash your car in-between details, please enquire.

Why Should the Wax be Re-Applied Every Six Months?
Your vehicle will pick up contaminants from being on the road, from tree sap, tar from roadworks etc.  These become very tightly bonded to your paintwork and will start to dull your paintwork and make the surface feel very rough.  Our testing shows that stripping back the wax every six months and using a clay bar to remove these contaminants is the best way to look after your vehicles paintwork and keep it in optimal condition.

Can You Come To Me?
Typically we ask for a customer to deliver their vehicle and collect on completion.

We offer two more solutions that may prove more convenient.  We can come to collect your vehicle and drive back to our premises, the only charge will be for the fuel used.  (Note your vehicle will accumulate the mileage from where it is collected to our premises, this can be checked and confirmed via Google Maps or similar).

The second option is that we can arrange for a loan vehicle for yourselves.  We will charge a small fee to cover your insurance and the cost of the courtesy car.  We can supply a like-for-like vehicle, this must be booked 4 weeks in advance and will be treated as a hire vehicle and subject to a standard hire agreement.

If either of these options is not suitable then we can travel to your premises via prior arrangement.  We ask that a supply of running water (ie a garden tap) and an electrical socket be supplied.  A garage suitable for working around the vehicle would be preferable to obtain the best in terms of finish.

What if…?
We will do our utmost to keep you well informed of your vehicle’s progress, it will be treated as our own and returned to you in the condition that you would typically expect.

We operate as a Limited company, and are also covered by insurance with up to £1 Million public liability.  Our drivers are RoSPA certified, are covered by our own insurance and are legally covered to drive your vehicle on the UK roads.
